Echo from a distant past, the Archmage Artrezil is the very origin of the Zil Warriors. Passionate about Shadow magic, Artrezil left Draconia to follow his own path: the way of Shadows. He created the first being able of thinking : Zil. He hoped to escape death by becoming this Zil, and therefore gaining immortality. However, he never reached his goal, but his creature survived to create the actual Zil Warriors.
